Once we receive your wedding rings from our workshops, we will use Royal Mail's Special Delivery service to safely dispatch them to you. All items are fully insured and guaranteed to arrive before 1pm next day (and will require signing for). We therefore also have a reference number for each item and can follow progress and will alert you as to its dispatch/due date; if you have any queries you can email us.
Royal Mail very rarely loose packages but should you be concerned, please report it to us and the Royal Mail as soon as possible. If an item does get truly lost, another ring will be created and dispatched.
Most of our rings take less than 14 days to produce and deliver. But with more bespoke designs, an item may take as long as 28 days to be delivered, due to the complexity and its made-to-measure nature.
returns + refund policy
We are so confident in our ring quality and service that we provide a seven day no quibble** guarantee, should you be disappointed after the delivery of any ring(s). We pride ourselves in our quality control and check every ring prior to dispatch to ensure they are in perfect condition and are exactly as ordered.
Please ensure you buy the correct size of ring, it is the customer’s responsibility to get the sizing correct, if you have any queries or require a ring sizer please email email@example.com. Returns due to an incorrect ring size will be subject to a £30 alteration fee plus any postage costs.
Although very unlikely, should any item show a defect in material or workmanship, we will gladly exchange or refund* within one year of delivery, and on receipt at Blackcarat, the defective ring(s).
Blackcarat will use its own discretion in replacing/refunding* damaged/returned goods and we will not credit or replace items that have been ill-treated or suffered damage through normal wear and tear, or where an attempt to repair has been made by any third party.
For defective returns please enclose a note stating clearly what the defects are. Before returning any item(s) you must contact us in writing at firstname.lastname@example.org to obtain a return number, which must be clearly marked on the parcel. The returned item(s) must be sent in its original outer packaging, presentation box, and wrapped in protective packaging to prevent damage during return transit, and sent along with all original documentation and paperwork. This is the customer’s responsibility. It is also the customer’s responsibility for appropriate insurance cover to be obtained when returning goods, and use of Royal Mail’s ‘Special Delivery’ is strongly. Please remember the goods belong to you until we receive them.
If Blackcarat fails to meet the delivery time promised, bar problems occurring beyond our control, then you have the right to cancel the order and we will refund you in full.
*All refunds usually appear in the customer’s bank account or on the credit card statement within 5 working days. However in certain unusual circumstances this can take up to 15 working days.
**Providing the ring is in the same condition it was dispatched in. The guarantee does not include bespoke or personalised rings including engraving.
Personal identification information
We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, place an order, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information. Users may, however, visit our Site anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personally identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities.

We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about Users means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information.

Blackcarat Limited may collect and use Users personal information for the following purposes:

We may use the information Users provide about themselves when placing an order only to provide service to that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the service.

We may use the email address to send User information and updates pertaining to their order. It may also be used to respond to their inquiries, questions, and/or other requests.

We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our Site.
Sensitive and private data exchange between the Site and its Users happens over a SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures.

We do not sell, trade, or rent Users personal identification information to others.
